Instruction does much, but encouragement everything.
— J. Wolfgang Von Goethe

Discipline (lat. disciplina): to impart knowledge.

When teaching, we encourage a practice free of prejudices and dogmatism, based on the anatomical knowledge of the body and the individual capacity of the student, always remaining inside the frame of traditional Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga sequence.

We believe that knowledge and transformation come only as a result of arduous and disciplined work.

There are no short-cuts.

We intend to boost the internal change in a student by recognizing the student’s obstacles and creating a safe space for their resolution through compassionate guidance and support, while encouraging them to explore their limits.

We see the practice of the poses as a process with no end nor agenda, but rather as an introspective way to learn about ourselves from different perspectives, and where the “entrance” and the “exit” of a pose is equally as important as “staying” in it.

Our aim is to provide the necessary tools to develop a life-long practice.

We have a big respect for other traditions like Iyengar or the revolutionary approach of Dona Holleman and we use them to help the students to improve their practice in a safe and healthy way.
