If you are new to Ashtanga and you would like to start studying with us we would love to teach you what we have learnt from scratch.

We acknowledge that all beginnings are difficult and would be delighted to introduce you to the practice gently and organically, making an enjoyable and nourishing experience.

The learning process is always incremental, giving the body time to integrate the postures and slowly building the sequence.

Eventually, you will understand the structure of the sequence and its cyclical nature, without the need for “studying the choreography”.

There are no requirements of physical skill, and people with any physical limitation are welcome.

We can adjust or modify the practice to fit your capacity and proficiency, getting the most out of it in that particular moment.

If this is your first experience with Ashtanga we would recommend you to take the “Online Private Classes Pack” where we can explain you the foundations of the system as this will prepare the base for building the practice.

If you are a seasoned practitioner you can book a “Single Online Class” to ask us about any specific issue or just join us at any live intensive or workshop.

An important note on assists when attending a live workshop or intensive:

In all the traditional eastern schools, either yoga, dance or any other school of bodily movement, there was no verbal interaction but the students were learning in two different ways:

Either they were shown (visual learning) or they were placed in the pose (kinaesthetic learning). Explanations were not given in order not to engage with the conceptual mind.

Adjustments and assists are an important part of the system. They are designed to help the student “feel” the correct alignment and imprint it in the body through repetition, without engaging with the sometimes misleading semantics.

This is because if we want to understand a high degree of the form, we have to comprehend it on an experiential level.

However, if you prefer NOT to be adjusted because you have an injury or for any other reason, we will absolutely respect that.

Please, let us know and we will work with you verbally instead.
